Natasha Brandt
Natasha Brandt was an employee of Level Propane both pre- and post-petition. She held the office of corporate Secretary. In January, 2003, she was authorized to remove hundreds of thousands of paid customer invoices. These paid invoices, organized by date and name, were the records of last resort of customer payments used to resolve billing questions. This material was the only hard copy record of every sales transaction between Level and its customers. This record was the most reliable and complete basis for determining Level’s customer base.
Ms. Brandt was also responsible for the personal property tax returns of Level Propane. These returns listed all of the leased customer tanks by location owned by Level. In 2003, Level’s copies of these returns were destroyed.
